Developing A Kingdom Culture
The Goodness of God
The first aspect of Kingdom and Revival Culture we are focusing on is the Goodness of God. The Goodness of God may be much more than you think. Moses did not want to take the people anywhere unless the presence of God went with them. Exodus 33. Then Moses asked to see the face of God. We sing Moses prayer from time to time when we sing, “show me your face God, show me your face.” When we long to enter into his presence and we long to see his face we will see his goodness.
And the LORD said, "I will cause all my goodness to pass in front of you, and I will proclaim my name, the LORD, in your presence. I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion." Exodus 33:19 NIV
Jesus has the power of God, by which he has given us everything we need to live and to serve God. We have these things because we know him. Jesus called us by his glory and goodness. 2 Peter 1.3 NCV
In March we should focus our attention on things that demonstrate the Goodness of God. Recommended resources:
- Bill Johnson's book Release the Power of Jesus. ($10)
- Steve Backlund's book Victorious Mindsets. ($17)
- General declarations - The first are from Steve Backlund
and will help you begin to begin making declarations about God's goodness over your life. The second is from Greg Foltz's teaching on Isaiah 61, declarations that affirm your calling as an Ambassador in Christ.
- Personal Action Plans - These four items will help you begin to establish the cultural aspect of the Goodness of God in your daily life as you complete it and practice it over the coming month.
As an immediate Acton Step we want you to write out short testimonies of all of the times God has demonstrated his goodness. Then make that a declaration. For example, 'God is always good and he demonstrated His goodness to me when He provided my house in answer to prayer.' As you declare his Goodness as a Testimony you prophesy of the goodness of God and create an atmosphere where he demonstrates his goodness again.
This is not just about thinking about Kingdom-revival culture or wishing for it. This is about changing our mindsets. We see it. Then we plan and take action to bring what we see to pass. We establish goals or bench marks to measure our success in creating this culture in our lives and then we have declarations to support our plan. As we develop our personal plan we will impact The Gate and the culture.
Begin to live expecting to encounter the goodness of God every day. Create the atmosphere for him to demonstrate His goodness.
Write out testimonies of the ways He has demonstrated His goodness in your life. Declare that God is always good and he demonstrates his goodness to me when ……………. The declarations and the testimonies are endless because he is so good.
As the culture of the Kingdom of God is formed in you and your mindsets change from the culture of this world to the culture of the Kingdom you will be able to impact the world and advance the Kingdom of God and hasten the day when his prayer is answered. “Your Kingdom come, your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.”

The next Kingdom value is Salvation.
