Several years ago Jesus started talking to me about warfare. He said, “Many are prophesying it’s time to prepare for war, but I say the war has already come.” We know that the strategies of the those who are evil have put their strategies in place and are being worked out, hence war has already come. We see it in the streets. We hear it on the news.  It’s brought to the forefront of our thinking every time we walk into a store, and they demand that we wear a mask. The warfare is subtle, deceiving, and demanding as an incremental subjection to laws that take away our freedom by the enemy called fear.

Now that we find ourselves in this time of warfare we may feel like we are not ready, but warfare has come upon us, so ready or not we are in it. Jesus is always ready. Before the angel came to Gideon in Judges 6, a prophet prophesied in verse 10, “And I said to you, ‘I am the Lord your God; you shall not fear the gods of the Amorites in whose land you dwell.’ But you have not obeyed my voice.” The word of the Lord was “don’t fear”, but they feared and hid in their caves and worked in their dens. This sounds like stay away from meetings and being forced to work at home (vs. 6.2) They were forced to do these things because of the enemy, the spirit of fear.

The angel came to Gideon and said in verse 12 “The Lord is with you, mighty warrior.” Even so now the Lord is interrupting our work flow to bring us into our destiny to take back the land from the enemy and establish the people under Kingdom Rule, the Kingdom that is ruled by a gracious King, no other King, but King Jesus.

We are being made to think that we have lost the battle but remember the battle is the Lord’s. For us to be victorious, we only need to join with Him, believe His word, and be who you were made to be.

Rise up mighty people of God, and declare who you are and how your victory will take place!

Declare:

1 Samuel 17:47 - …the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord’s, and he will give all of you (those who have power) into our hands.”

2 Chronicles 20:15 - … This is what the Lord says to you: ‘Do not be afraid or discouraged because of this vast army. For the battle is not yours, but God’s.

Psalm 24:8 - Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. (He is my Warrior King)

Isaiah 33.22 - For the Lord is our judge, the Lord is our lawgiver, the Lord is our king; it is he who will save us. (and make us victorious)

Psalm 24:8

Who is this King of glory? The Lord strong and mighty, the Lord mighty in battle. (it is the Lord who leads us)

Our Ultimate Goal:

Romans 8:37 - …in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.

To be more than conquerors, We have come to take the land back and settle it under Kingdom Rule. No other King, but King Jesus.

This is a time for decrees of success and of battles to be won, not of fear, but of cries of success of victories yet to be won. Their armies may be vast and powerful, but the angel armies of God, who have taken down whole nations, are on our side to take down our enemies who hide in secret.

Again I say, “Rise up mighty people of God, and declare who you are and how your victory will take place!”
