We Look Forward To Meeting You!

Welcome to The Gate. We’ve put together some information here that anticipates and tries to briefly answer some of the questions you may have prior to visiting The Gate for the first time:

Atmosphere

It's important to us that you feel welcome when visiting. We hope our atmosphere will help you feel relaxed and comfortable. The music and worship are built around Biblical themes that are timeless. We are glad to have you join us in worship! You will be greeted and welcomed by others who love to share the love of Jesus with others.

Worship

As you settle in you will find some people standing as worship begins.  Others may remain seated and some may lay on the floor.  You will hear known worship songs as well as spontaneous songs.  There may be clapping, banners and flags and other enthusiastic expressions of praise and worship that are all found in the Psalms and other Scripture.

Word of the lord

Here at The Gate, we place a high priority on creating an atmosphere of His presence with extended worship and prayer.  The Word has high priority and is often highliged in worship and affirmed in teaching, preaching and the proclaimation of His Kingdom.  Saturday night at The Gate is a time for us to meet the Lord and meet with one another as a community to learn, be encouraged and to be challenged by God's Word as gifted ministers of the Gospel of the Kingdom lift up  the name of Jesus Christ.

Community

Other opportunities exist beyond the Saturday gatherings for you to grow, fellowship, or otherwise be a part of a community of believers that lives out their faith together. Home fellowships, prophetic prayer gatherings, training sessions and conferences are regularly scheduled and many from The Gate go out on ministry trips at home or internationally.

FAMILies

Our intent is to serve the whole family at the same time.  We do not have childcare for infants or children and we do not have seperate services for sons and daughers.  Feel free to bring quiet activities or quiet toys for younger children so they can join you in a family worship experience.  Older youth can engage fully in our services.  No matter your family dynamics, you're welcome at The Gate and we're excited to have you with us.
