It is very important to stay focused and stay in His presence when the worship team takes us deep into silent worship. We experience just how precious that time is when the two, Jesus and you, become one, and no one is helping us worship. Our hearts, like broken pots, are being restored and pouring out into a new deeper relationship. Some feel like "I’ve never been here before" and are swimming in new waters. Others know these waters. This is the moment that walls are breaking down, lives are changed, as we’re all in a flood of Living Water together. We may have experienced Jesus here before but we all know it’s new this time. It’s new every time because His love is always flowing and taking us deeper.
Breakthrough is happening now, and I’m not prepared but He is ready for me to take His hand and follow Him in a new way. This is the moment when this new experience breaks old thinking about who we are to Him and His Kingdom. When Jesus reaches His hands out, His presence is enough to change our plans and fears forever.
When the woman at the well met Jesus, none of her old life mattered any more. She had broken through and experienced the Kingdom she had only heard about, and a new personal worship had arrived. When the true place to worship comes, we are His, and we are changed. The town will know it because we have tasted the Living Water and our lives are on fire with love's passion, the kind of fire that can set a town and the world on fire, a fire that can get your testimony written in the Bible with Jesus. Now what could be better than that?
This is the experience of love our hearts long for. He’s not looking for words alone, but for hearts that want to be intertwined with His.
