I love how when we gather, the presence of God falls at the Gate DC. We feel His power as we're taken deep into His love. Why do we want, even pray, for those experiences? Granted, it may be the sheer delight of feeling so close to Him; there's nothing like it, but is there more?

In Luke 2.9, as the Glory shone around the shepherds, it was followed by prophetic words that would shape the history and destiny of nations. In Ezekiel 43, Ezekiel was taken in a vision to the temple's inner court while in the Glory, and then he prophesied to Israel of things yet to come. In 2 Chronicles 7, after Solomon's prayer, the presence of God fills the temple leading to the Priest walking in their destiny.

When His Glory falls, and we feel His presence or Fire, let's look to see or hear what He's releasing. Will it be a prophetic word that will shape nations? Will a new aspect of your destiny be revealed and deposited in you? Will he take you into the inner court of His presence of love, or will you meet the Angel of the Lord of Host, who comes with a battle plan that will move you forward into your promised land as He did with Joshua?

We can expect the same for ourselves. In your next encounter with God, look to see if He's giving you a battle plan to defeat the enemy or a prophetic word that will change your life or even the future of nations. When we experience Him and receive what He's releasing to us, we bring the reality of the Kingdom of God into this life. We can only know by looking, seeing, and believing the revelation found in the Glory, Power, and Fire of His presence. He created you for this reason and for such a time as this.
